"Grateful for a Safe Used Gear Purchase"
I was a little nervous about buying used gear online, but this ended up being a really smooth experience. The order went through without any issues, tracking worked well, and the seller seemed trustworthy. Shipping took a couple extra days, but I’m just glad everything arrived as expected and the payment process felt secure. I’d definitely use Geartrade again

"Some good finds, but not always a huge deal"
I’ve ordered a couple things from Geartrade, and the value has been a little hit or miss. Some of the used gear is priced fairly, especially when you compare it to buying brand new, but then other items end up feeling almost the same once shipping gets added.
The site itself was fine, and I did get what I ordered, so it’s not even about that. I just wish the deals were more consistent. I’d still browse there again, but I definitely wouldn’t assume everything listed is automatically a bargain

"Good deal and easy enough to buy"
I picked up a used jacket on geartrade and the whole thing was painless. I think I spent maybe 10 minutes looking through the listing and checking the photos before ordering.
The jacket showed up looking about like the pictures, maybe even a bit nicer than I expected. Shipping took around 4 or 5 days, so not instant, but totally reasonable. The price was roughly half of what I would’ve paid new, which was the main reason I went for it.
I’d definitely use geartrade again if I’m trying to save some money on gear. Since it’s used stuff, I’d just say to read the details closely and zoom in on the photos before buying

"Checkout was painless"
I was in a relaxed mood when I checked out on Geartrade, and thankfully the whole thing didn’t ruin that. I found what I wanted, added it to my cart, and the payment page was straightforward. I also appreciated seeing the shipping cost before paying, because surprise fees always put me in a bad mood.
The only little hiccup was when I updated my address and the page got kind of sluggish. I was mildly annoyed for a second, but a quick refresh fixed it and everything went through fine. The confirmation email showed up right away, so in the end I felt good about it...

"Good packaging, just a little extra"
My jacket arrived in good shape, and the box was taped up well. Nothing was crushed or wet, which I definitely appreciated. The only thing I noticed was that there was a bit more loose plastic inside than seemed necessary for one item. Not a big deal, just something that could be a little cleaner. Overall, the packaging did its job

"Shipping was actually reasonable"
I was expecting the shipping to be one of those annoying surprise costs, but it really wasn’t. I mean—I was kind of surprised it stayed fair, especially compared to some other gear sites. My order showed up quickly too, so I didn’t feel like I got ripped off at checkout. I’d definitely use GearTrade.com again

"Reliable seller, no Hassle"
I bought a used ski jacket on Geartrade and it was a easy experience. The photos were accurate, and the jacket actually looked a little better in person than I was expecting.
The seller shipped it out quickly and added tracking the same day, which I appreciated. I also had a quick question about sizing and they answered normally without making it a whole Thing.
I’ve dealt with flaky sellers on other sites before, so this felt Refreshingly simple. I’d buy again for sure, as long as the seller reviews look solid.

"Got here sorta faster than I expected"

At first I wasn’t really sure if the dispute was going to get resolved, and I did start second-guessing whether I’d handled it the right way. It took longer than I expected, but eventually everything got taken care of and the outcome was okay

I’ve been loyal to this brand for a while, so I was a little disappointed that I had to return something in the first place. That said, the refund came through faster than I expected, which definitely helped ease the frustration...

The return did work, so that was good. It just felt a little slower than I expected, and I kept checking to see if anything had updated. Not a huge deal, really, but yeah, it could’ve been quicker. The process itself was fine though.

Overall, the gear is good and feels solid quality-wise. There were a few scuffed-up spots though, which made me wonder if they were kind of downplayed in the listing. Nothing that ruins it, but it did make me feel like they knew it looked a little more worn than they let on

I sold a backpack on geartrade and the fees felt fair. I’ve used a few other sites where the costs get annoying fast, but here it was clear what I’d be paying before I even listed it.
The payout matched what I expected, and the receipt email lined up with everything I saw on the site. No random surprise charge or confusing extra fee, so I’d definitely use it again

"Payout was faster than I expected"
I sold a jacket on GearTrade.com and went into it thinking, great, here comes a long wait for the money. But then the payout showed up a couple days after everything cleared, and suddenly I was like, okay, never mind, that was actually smooth. It wasn’t instant, but it was quick enough that I really can’t complain. I’d use it again

I ordered a used jacket and it showed up exactly like the listing photos, which was a relief. The little scuffs they pointed out were right where they said, and there weren’t any random surprises. I ordered a jacket and boots from Geartrade, and everything showed up just like it was listed. I double-checked the receipt email to make sure, and the sizes were right and the condition was pretty much exactly as described. "Shopping on the site was a bit frustrating"
I had a harder time using the site than I expected. It took a while to find what I was looking for, the filters didn’t always seem to work right, and checkout felt more confusing than it needed to be. I also kept checking my email for the receipt because I wasn’t totally sure the order had gone through at first.
